Location: Kendal and /or Ulverston based in South Lakeland.

Salary: £21,700 – £23,600, Pro rata Actual £10,850 – £11,800. Depending on
experience, plus 3% pension contribution.
Hours: 18.5 hours per week. . Normal working day 9am to 5pm but you could be
required to work some evenings or Saturdays.
Contract: Fixed term until 30 September 2019
Holidays 35 days per annum pro rata (including Bank Holidays.)
South Lakes Citizens Advice is a well-established and trusted local service based
in the heart of South Lakeland, providing quality information, support and
advice to the community.
We deliver the aims and principles of Citizens Advice service by offering a
comprehensive and accessible service and by working actively for change in the
policies and practices that impact on the lives of our clients.
We are currently recruiting for a Volunteer Recruitment and Training Officer. The
post holder will play a key role in developing the service we provide across South
Lakeland. They will be responsible for the recruitment of new volunteers, as well
as, providing ongoing support and training to all volunteers and paid staff.
We are looking to recruit someone who can demonstrate
experience of working with volunteer the ability to design, deliver and assess adult learning;
excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
the ability to support and motivate volunteers;
an understanding of and commitment to Citizens Advice aims and
South Lakes Citizens Advice is committed to equality and diversity and welcomes
