We are an independent charity and each year we must raise enough money to remain open.
We currently have around 10 staff providing management, training, quality oversight and support to the 60 or so volunteers that give their time freely as advisers, administrators, trustees or fundraisers.
Each year we seek funding to maintain our service. We are currently supported by Westmorland and Furness Council, The Hadfield Trust, local Parish and Town Councils, neighbourhood forums, fundraising groups and Charitable Trusts.
Our specialist advice work is currently funded by Cumbria County Council, the Money Advice Service and Macmillan Cancer Care.
